Babylon 5's Jerry Doyle dead at 60

Jerry Doyle, who rose to fame as Michael Garibaldi on the sci-fi series Babylon 5, died last night at his home in Las Vegas. He was 60.

A message posted to his Twitter and Facebook accounts this morning announced his passing. "The family of Jerry Doyle is sad to announce Jerry’s passing. The cause of death is unknown at this time," it said.

TMZ is reporting that a 911 call was made from his home last night after he was found unresponsive. No other details are known at this time.

After his run on Babylon 5, Doyle became a popular radio talk show host, with a nationally-syndicated talk show featuring news and politics fromm a conservative/libertarian perspective.

Our prayers are with Jerry's family and friends at this time.
