The long forgotten NFL Action Team Mates!

Back in 1977, a company released a line of NFL football player action figures, which could be customized with number stickers to make any player you wanted. These 7 inch figures are very rare now, of course, as I missed out getting one of the Dallas Cowboys as a kid, even though I really wanted one. I did pick up a less-than-mint Cowboy a few years back, but I'd love to get a few more.

Anyway, imagine my surprise to find this scan from a 1979 Sears catalog proving that these figures did exist, including some for every NFL team, which I did not know were available. You can click on the pic to see a full scan, and drool over these beauties.
